From relationship challenges, exposure to trauma and overall daily demands, it can become difficult to navigate everyday life. Sometimes these tough situations can cause you to ask yourself, “Am I good enough?” or “Why me?” which can lead to depressive thoughts, anxiety, and even traumatic stress. Together, we will work to uncover underlying wounds that could have contributed to the difficulties causing you complications with reaching your desired way of feeling, thinking, behaving, and living.

I am passionate about empowering my clients to regain control of their life. My ideal client is one who is open-minded to new tools and perspectives about themselves. A client who is frustrated by repeated cycles of the same behaviors, relationships, and outcomes. I create a safe space to allow my clients the opportunity to be their authentic self.

I am educated in clinical mental health, trauma-informed care, including Eye Movement Desensitization Training and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing.

Change, processing, growth, and healing do not come easy. You set the pace for your healing journey. Schedule with her at mnb.therapy@gmail.com

terapia conductual cognitiva y entrevistas motivacionales.

I am a bilingual Spanish-speaking Associate Marriage and Family therapist (AMFT). I am a secondgeneration Hispanic and have an intuitive understanding of the unique issues faced by our diverse culture  and understand the significance of culture itself in the mental health space. Regardless of our roots or  cultural background, each individual develops a unique impression of life based on personal experiences.  Many times, the very same things, or people that have once brought us the most joy, fail to meet our  personal expectations and the gap between our expectations and reality often leave us with sadness,  resentment, and guilt.   I firmly believe in the power of therapy to promote resilience, fresh perspectives and as a result, every  connection made in therapy is part of the journey toward a positive transformation. Therapy is a beautiful  process, it invites us to feel when perhaps feeling wasn’t encouraged or accepted, create awareness, and  challenge our own assumptions. We are not meant to navigate life alone--collaboratively we can explore  each of these elements and stretch your capacity to navigate challenging relationships and circumstances.  With a passion for strong communication in relationships and a focus on Marriage & Family Therapy, my  therapeutic approach incorporates elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychoeducation, and  Person-Centered Therapy. Inviting awareness to the things that hang us up in life shed light to different  perspectives and provides peaceful restoration in personal relationships and healing. As I continue my  journey as a therapist, I remain committed to empowering families and individuals from all walks of life  find strength in their vulnerabilities, achieve a sense of wholeness, foster understanding, and nurture  lasting change in their lives.   Having experienced my own pain and sat with others in theirs, I would be honored to support you in  your journey to overcome depression, anxiety, family dynamics and all other challenges that are getting  in the way of living your most wholesome life.  Contact me at aidalopeztherapy@gmail.com
